Diamond Creek House

This project is a new residential dwelling in Diamond Creek. The site is steep and has a 7m fall from back to the front.

The design consists of 3 pavilions connected by stairs, which are nicely positioned on the landscape to maximise the views of the hills to the North East.

The ground level consists of a double garage with a working bench, a media room and a studio.

The first level consists of the main entrance of the dwelling and a toilet.

The second level consists of the kitchen, dining area and sitting area with open balustrade overlooking into the entry area which allows interaction for the occupants and guests. There are 2 outdoor decks accessible from the sitting area and dining area.

The third level consists of a master bedroom with ensuite and outdoor deck, 2 spacious bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundry and an outdoor drying area.

The fourth level consists of a study room with a long bench overlooking a large void into the dining and sitting area, which encourages visual connection and interaction between 2 different levels in the dwelling.

The materials of this proposed dwelling are concrete and glass with structural beams and columns to maximise the natural views of the site.
