Northland’s Shopping Centre Kiosk

This Kiosk proposed for Northland’s Shopping Centre embraces the same design aspects as the South Morang Kiosk, a space that was comfortable to work in, engaging design,  while having a relative small footprint to achieve a cost effective build.

The design is a little bit larger than South Morang Kiosk, to allow for more preparation bench top space and will comfortably fit 3+ staff within the kiosk.

The design uses slender gloss subway tiles in a variety of bright pastel colours along the bench facade, contrasting against the sleek black granite top. The colour are a representation of the cakes and food that will be sold at the kiosk. The colourful design creates a nice eye catching cafe out the front of Coles. The design adds a variety of colour and character amongst the dreary repetitive pop up shops and shop fronts in the centre.

The cafe has been orientated to attract people coming in and out of Coles, with the display cabinet full of scrumptious food tempting them to come and try. The cash register is set up to greet people entering the shopping centre.

The overall aim is to give a cosy cafe feel within a large stark shopping centre environment.
